Marty's passion has always been Christian Country music! He's been doing this now for almost twenty years. Hard to believe! He loves working behind the mic! Today's Cross Country has had its challenges, to say the least! Marty says he's learned so much and found that this is only the beginning! But he's also learned that this show is bigger than one man. "I can't do this by myself" Marty says. That's why he's so grateful to have Ted, Dale, Mark, Amanda and Hannah helping him out. God is Good!
Ronnie Lee Hurst
Growing up in a log house in rural Oregon, Ronnie's love for country music began at a young age. Some of his earliest musical influences included Hank Williams, Sr., Tom T. Hall, George Jones, and Earl Scruggs. It was when he first heard Merle Haggard, that Ronnie's interest in song writing began. Ronnie even paid tribute to his favorite singer/songwriter by writing and recording, "Merle's The Man".
Al Sheperd
Al started this journey as a mobile DJ and webmaster of WBTN. In 2007, he volunteered his equipment to the local teen club, Knapps Underground, handling both lighting and sound engineer duties. In 2008, he created Bennington Rocks, a music show featuring unsigned pop/rock artists, on 1370 AM WBTN.

More important, she started building many close friendships which remain with her today. Her radio career started at the age of 17. Over the years, she has served as Emcee for many top festivals including Merlefest in Wilkesboro, NC, Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver Bluegrass Festival in Denton, NC, Bass Mountain Bluegrass Festival in Burlington, NC, IBMA FanFest in Nashville, and many others. Cindy has been a contributor to Bluegrass Unlimited Magazine as both a writer and photographer.

Shawn Degenhart
Shawn was born and raised in central Illinois, attending Highvew Church of God in Washington, where he became a believer at the age of 9. His exposure to gospel hymns and the songs of Bill & Gloria Gaither laid a very important foundation for what the future held for Shawn. Piano lessons in junior high along with musicals and choirs in high school led him to the music program at Illinois State University where he received a bachelor’s degree in music theory/composition and music history.

Royel Clark grew up in Texas singing for friends and neighbors for fun. In the 8th grade he joined a local rock & roll band called "The Velvetones." As he matured he grew fonder of country music and joined "The Uptown Countrymen" and shortly afterwards he hooked up with some talented musicians and they formed the "Southfork Band". As front man and lead vocalist, Royel and the band made contacts with 'Dallas' the TV series and "Southfork" the band became frequent visitors at the ranch.
